EZBorrow

Items borrowed through EZBorrow are loaned for six weeks and can be renewed one time by contacting the LTS Help Desk at 717-815-1559.

ILLiad

Due dates for ILL materials borrowed through ILLiad are set by the lending library. The decision on whether an item may be renewed is also made by the lending library. You can request that your item be renewed.

After logging into your ILLIAD account, choose the “Checked Out Items” option (located in the “View” tab on the left side of the screen).

Click on this to open your current requests. Click on the request that you’d like to renew. If you see a “Renew Request” option at the top of your screen, choose this to request a renewal.

You will see a confirmation of your renewal with a due date, however that is only a confirmation of your request. The lending library must approve the renewal. You will get an email, saying if the item has been renewed and the new due date, which may be different than the one on your confirmation. You may also be notified that the item can’t be renewed. If that happens, please return the item by your due date. If needed, you can make a new request for the same title.

If you do not see “Renew Request” on your screen, please email ill@ycp.edu with the title and the transaction number (TN) and the staff can request renewal for you.
